I think it’s about time some one told the truth about SEA. I know all you lame ass wana be to cool for skool kids love this place because it makes you feel like you are on the in crowed of Williamsburg – trust me your not. SEA has a great look to it I will give them that, but every thing else is shit. The wait to even get a table is always over an hour then once you get a table it’s another 30 min till someone gets you a menu, then I would say another 30 mins to order. All for some under par over priced Thai food. When I first started going to SEA their food was amazing I would have called the best Thai food in NY. I have no idea what happend or maybe the are just going for the cool spot to hang stats. Any way there are 3 other better Thai place in the burg that I think you should look at before wasting your night away at SEA.
Hmmm..perhaps you had a bad experience, but I went last night and it was AWESOME…Yes, there was a wait of about an hour but that’s usually a sign that they’re a popular restaurant ADUH!…But while we waited, we had some drinks at the bar–the drinks were fairly priced for their size..no complaints there…I’m not sure what your budget is but our tab for the food was 56 bucks for 4 people so i def WOULD NOT call them over priced. The waiter came quickly, the food came quicker and the experience and setting was very fun…Maybe you are fresh out of highschool and still concerned with “in-crowds” but overall its something different and the sceneray is def entertaining…The service was great…I have no complaints.
kinda hafta agree with u. Its not bad but the wait time is crazy and its a little too hectic in there. Planet Thailand is better, in the same neighborhood and less wait time.
